Geoffrey was always impassioned by the mechanical sport in general (motor bike GP, Formule1, Rally, karting, Btcs etc ......), and that dice its more young age.  But it is at the age of 16ans, at the time of a meeting with Jonathan Thonon (World champion Karting 2temps) and of Andre Lotterer (automobile races circuit in all kind) that the virus of the mechanical sports took seat. It is initially in karting that it made its first weapons with K55 of 100cc, Iamé 125 and a rotax max 125cc. After having cotoyé Jenson Button on the circuit of Genk, it incrivit with the championship of the world karting indoor for amateurs has Courtrai.  It is there that it met Grégory Laporte, teamleader of Bluestars racing TEAM. Very interested by times of Geoffrey he asked him to belong to his TEAM, which Geoffrey accepted readily.  Thus it gained in 2008 the cut of the Nations and the title of vice world champion by team 2008 has Courtrai. Several races has Mariembourg, Genk and Francorchamps saw Bluestars on more the high steps of the podiums. They gave cover in 2009 to Macaé to Brazil accompanied by Jordan Beuler.  In 2010 Geoffrey decided to take the wheel of a VW Fun Cup within our TEAM at the wheel of the two-seater 316.  With when a fun cup with the colors of BlueStars?

Trackday - Incentives - Day of test

The first dates of 2010 are published.  As in 2009, we will on the occasion to return to us with our fun cup on the circuits of Zolder and Francorchamps.

The activities will take place according to the climatic conditions (cancelled in the event of snow or of glaze).

The season VW fun Cup is finished.  The last race took place with Misano in Italy.  Although the TEAM exodus met concern (breakdown of pump with fuel oil, accident), the TEAM finishes the season on a positive note. 

Indeed, car 65 controlled by Bruno Magal, Marc Ferraro and Arnaud Quédé was classified 13th with general classification and 10th with classification TDI is the objective laid down at the beginning of season.

The 360, fun cup two-seater, is as for it on the second walk of the podium.  Vice-champion of Belgium for the first year of participation, which ask of better?

Last year, a member of the asbl had reserved a turn in the VW Fun Cup at the time of the 25 hours 2008. 

This year it is with his wife that it offered a gift always during the 25 hours.  Thank you with this couple to follow us…. You will find his message below:

The 25 hours VW fun cup had miles last on July 11 on the famous circuit of Spa-Francorchamps.  The cars of the TEAM exodus were announced like the outsiders with the long teeth for this edition.  Two cars out of the three were engaged, the 65 and 360, both equipped with famous engine TDI Bluemotion.  They had thus very to be with the SIGNAL even the pilots. ; -)

Indeed, the 360 was taken along by Niels Lagrange (www.niels-lagrange.be).  After having been very good during the tests, the weather remained nothing any more but one thing to be made, to keep it on the circuit….  All occurred very well for the car from the TEAM which travelled between 3rd and the 5th place at the rate/rhythm from the stops to take on board copilots.  Whereas it had already 22 stops against 18 for the majority of the other teams, small a touchette with the back actuated the car in a head with tail.  François Godard, controls of the 183 unfortunately did not know anything to make to avoid it.  Result: return on the breakdown truck with radiator burst as well as the nose gear.  The 25 hours were finished for our young very dynamic team.

As for the 65, left the 35ième place, Arnaud knew to avoid the traps of the first turns and was in the leading bunch.  The strategic stop for the full one with diesel after 1 hour of race made it plunge in the classification in the 90ième place but that was going to be rectified as soon as the other teams were going to stop with the pump.  Indeed, after two hours of race, the 65 was in 21st position is the logical position of the TEAM, reinforced this time by the arrival of Reiner Weisshaupt and Nicolas Duculot.  The hours were followed and resembled each other for the holders of the 65 until the moment when it started to rain.  As much of other teams, the 65 was not saved by problems of essuie ice and not had to return in the stands to 3 recoveries.  Whereas the mechanics thought that the problem came from the engines, Jean-Michel Boucha responsible for Ball Vents, detected the breakdown: a poor contact.

This poor contact was expensive the 65 which penalized by more than 50 minutes in the stands tumbled down in the classification to finish in the 61ième place.

It is promised, one will do the next time best

It was announced but the organizers confirm it, the 5 finalists of the Nouvelle Star will be present at the 25 hours VW Fun Cup.   Not to roll but to sing well!  The finalists will occur on the scene in concert on Saturday July 11 to 20:30. Then go on the circuit of Spa-Francorchamps to discover out of early product their round.

 You wish to attend this concert.  We propose a formula to you all included:

Entry with the concert, cold dresser at midday and drinks for 35 euros including all taxes or Entry with the concert, cocktail of pastes and drinks for 35 euros.

Only on reservation.  Your reservation will be taken into account as of reception of the payment on the account of the asbl.

Dear friends of VW Fun Cup, you will find in appendix, the menu that we concocté you for the 25 hours of VW Fun Cup 2009. Each dish can be taken separately but you have also the possibility of taking the fixed price for all the weekend. For greediest among you, a formula VIP within a luxurious framework was also worked out by the TEAM VW Fun Cup Exodus asbl.  Whereas you are members, pilots, supporters, you are all welcome in our cabin above them F1 stands for drinking or eating an end (on reservation only). The tariff includes an entry by anybody (value 20 euros), the desired meal and the drinks at will.

Last weekend took place the first sleeve of VW Fun Cup of the championship of Belgium with the arrival of engine TDI Blue Motion.

Our TEAM put in track for the occasion these three Fun Cup (59 that you know, 65 who is equipped with a two-seater TDI and it 360, it also in TDI).

VW fun Cup 65 controlled by Bruno, Marc and Arnaud carried out a good time with the tests and was going to be in the 3rd place on the starting grid.

After a difficult departure, the 65 was going to fight during one hour with the 129 of Pierre Piron. At the end of the first three hours of race, it was in the 11th place.

The next morning, Marc was going to take the orders of his mounting. After three hours of baited fight, the 65 finished with the twelfth places at the general classification and the 10th place of the TDI.

59, controlled for the occasion by Niels Lagrange (www.niels-lagrange.be), Pascal Vanelderen and Dylan. Niels which was not with its first attempt, placed the very high bar by putting the 59 at the fourth place of the classification gasoline.

Unfortunately for the team, a gasoline breakdown in the last tower of the first sleeve their made lose some places with general classification. The second day, Niels taken the front while trying to go up.

What it did with hands of Master. Dylan, as for him improved its times with the turn while Pascal had a light fixing in the last minutes of the second handle.

The 360 is controlled by Pascal Eeckout, Pascal Dubuc, Ronnie Jorquera and Reiner Weisshaupt.  The four pilots are very fast and constant.

After having taken some passengers for a baptism Fun Cup, they were allowed to go more quickly than certain single-seat TDI.  Thanks to their talent, they hoisted the 360 on the third walk of the podium of the two-seater classification just behind the fun cup Radio Contact and Vroom of Eric Spitzer.

The latter aim at the title but the 360 will be there to give them wire to retordre
